Our facilities
Dhurnal
OPI Gas (Private) Limited was established in 2006, with a vision, to ensure that LPG would be made available anywhere and everywhere in the country. The Company started with the installation of LPG storage and filling plant in Dhurnal, District Attock; some 80 kilometers from Islamabad. In order to develop a safe, reliable and cost effective service from the very start, a network of around 40 reliable distributors was set in place to supply LPG to different parts of the country. The plant’s location was ideally chosen to accommodate the demand of LPG in the Northern areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir (AK); with a storage capacity of 50 Metric Tons, which was later enhanced to 100 Metric Tons immediately in order to keep up with the domestic demand in the region. The plant’s filling capacity of 50 Metric tons per day was based on growing demand and market research, to meet customers’ needs with ease.
Jambar
Following the initial plan, the Company envisioned a second plant in a place where it can reach out to a vast pool of consumers. Hence, LPG storage and filling plant was installed at Jambar (District Kasur), located at a distance of 50 kilometers from Lahore, to increase the availability of LPG in the region. Primarily, the location of the plant was to cater for the growing gap between supply and demand of LPG in Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur and Lahore and its suburbs.
